About Us

We have over 25 years of experience working in the health and social care sector within both Ofsted registered Children's Homes, CQC registered adult residential homes and supported living, this involved us supporting individuals with complex health needs, significant trauma, learning disabilities, complex behaviour support and self-regulation.

Our support and experience ranges from early years through to end-of-life care.

We have always had the same passion and drive to support and guide individuals through some of the toughest times of their lives. To do this we believe that the staff working within health and social care settings need to be mentored with clear development plans and a positive support system to enable them to help shape the future of young people and the social care industry.

We feel whilst working in close partnership with homes and their staff, we will ensure a therapeutic, compassionate, standard of excellence is upheld.

Our passion for Stand Out Consultancy came from understanding the challenges that may occur within families, foster care, and residential care settings, the patience and listening skills that we have learnt over the years has enabled us to unpick, safeguard and value each individuals’ emotions, wishes, feelings and support needs to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and advocated for.

In more recent years, we have worked in the capacity of Registered Manager, Home Care Manager, Head of Residential Childcare Services, and Operations Manager.

Our experience includes overseeing Children’s homes, all with an Ofsted rating of Good. Successfully opening homes that have been regulated by Ofsted and, Care Quality Commission, carrying out the necessary pre inspection audits to ensure full Ofsted and CQC compliance. As well as managing restructures within large residential settings.

We believe all homes should be unique and personalised to each individuals needs whilst ensuring the homes staffing team has a full understanding and knowledge of the home's expectations and relevant regulations.
